2019 EarthArts Spring Art Tour

Polk County highways and byways will again be buzzing May 3, 4 and 5 as the annual EA Tour gets under way.   Make sure to visit Frederic during this county-wide self-guided tour. It’s a great opportunity to meet local artists in a fun and relaxing setting.

The growing event known as “the Tour”, now in its 18th year has 27 stops and over 40 participants throughout the county and into Taylor’s Falls, Minnesota.  The Tour is organized by a diverse group of artists and artisans to promote creativity, mutual support and awareness of the Arts.  Please visit their website at www.EarthArtswi.org

Tour brochures are available at Beans Country Griddle, One 10 Gallery, Bremer Bank, US Bank and other businesses in Frederic and lists all participants and stops, information and maps.  You can also download the brochure from the EarthArts website above.  Note: A large number of stops are open on Friday, May 3rd, but not all.  Check the brochure for locations and times.

Frederic Art Center, 310 Lake Ave S:

The Frederic Arts Center was originally the one-room Lincoln School between Frederic and Luck and formerly the American Legion Hall.

Taste a little history and view some magnificent art on display.  Frederic Arts will host:  Vivian Byl, watercolors; Dave Grossman, wooden utensils; Tammy Seebach, batiks; Barb Fellrath, painting; Priscilla Hill, painting and watercolor; Kay Thorsbakken, watercolor; and Nancy Buley, Gypsymoon Body Care.
